Our Approach
At Pium Therapy, we believe that healing looks different for everyone — and that you deserve to be met with care, compassion, and understanding, exactly as you are. We warmly welcome people of all races, genders, sexualities, and bodies, and we know that sometimes the weight we carry is hard to name — no matter how you'd describe what you're going through, anything that feels overwhelming can have a real impact on your nervous system, and that experience is valid. Our approach is person-centered and integrative, gently working to uncover the root of what you're holding, so that you can bloom into your most authentic self.
The name Pium comes from the Korean word 피움, meaning "to bloom" or "blossoming" — a word that holds within it the very essence of what we believe healing to be. Just as a flower draws its strength from deep within the earth, true and lasting healing begins at the root. At Pium Therapy, we honor that process by gently working beneath the surface of your experiences, tending to what has been buried or left unaddressed, so that what grows from within you can bloom fully, beautifully, and in its own time.
