Heal the Root.
Bloom the Heart.
Gentle, person-centered therapy for trauma, anxiety, and the weight that’s hard to name. Offered in English and Korean, in Decatur and by telehealth across Georgia.
My Approach
Healing looks different for everyone, and you deserve to be met with care, compassion, and understanding, exactly as you are. I warmly welcome people of all races, genders, sexualities, and bodies. Sometimes the weight we carry is hard to name, but anything that feels overwhelming can have a real impact on your nervous system, and that experience is valid. My approach is person-centered and integrative: together, we gently uncover the root of what you’re holding, so that you can bloom into your most authentic self.
My puppy is part of the Pium family too, and a gentle, furry reminder that rest and play are part of healing.
Meet Cindy
Hi, I’m Cindy Song, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Georgia License #CSW009324). As a queer, neurodivergent, first-generation, first-born immigrant daughter, I know firsthand how hard it can be to ask for help, and how much therapy can change a life.

피움
“to bloom,” “blossoming”
The name Pium comes from the Korean word 피움, meaning "to bloom" or "blossoming" — a word that holds within it the very essence of what we believe healing to be. Just as a flower draws its strength from deep within the earth, true and lasting healing begins at the root. At Pium Therapy, we honor that process by gently working beneath the surface of your experiences, tending to what has been buried or left unaddressed, so that what grows from within you can bloom fully, beautifully, and in its own time.
